There is a wealth of information on the Internet today. Exactly how many websites and web pages is difficult to determine but according to Forbes there were around 1.1 billion websites at the start of 2023. So, it is now easier than ever before to discover information on a subject. There’s also the advent of AI bots as an option for research – but we need to consider whether this is, as yet, a completely reliable source for detailed and accurate information. Doing your own ‘leg work’ and reading a cross section of different historic accounts and opinions from a wide range of websites will always give you not only a unique perspective but greater confidence in my view!
